The Teton Valley Ranch Camp is an experience-based education summer camp for children and teens. The mission is to educate about nature and the west, while also promoting self discovery. Alloy design group was asked to design a new 'Discovery Center' on a remote hillside to serve as a base for nature explorations. The site captures views of the camp and region, and the building is designed to play many roles- gathering space, learning center, and creative display. Built out of local logs by a local woodworker, the building captures the history and natural beauty of TVRC through modern design.
